How to get to the snorkel reefs:

When you are facing the water, look right (North) and locate the white 200 yard buoy. Swim to that buoy and then go straight out another 100 feet and you will run directly into a huge reef 200x50 feet. If you want to continue, then swim directly North another 200 feet and you will run into a huge coral head. I swim this daily, and there are parrot fish, lobsters (these protected on the island) galore, puffer fish, grouper, and more.

Snorkeling, windsurfing, parasailing, and world class diving are literally steps away. Nearby is the famous Beachcomber Reef. It is a short swim off-shore to the RIGHT about 200-300 yards towards the swim buoys. It has an abundance of beautiful tropical fish, grouper, parrot fish,  turtles, rays, and puffer fish all on 3 shallow coral reefs. It is in 6-12 feet of water.

Discover also "Stingray City" in the North Sound where in 3-12 feet of water you can experience a community of graceful stingrays! Diving is so convenient that dive boats can pick you up right on the beach and take you to the "Cayman Wall" which offers shipwrecks, turtles, and other exotic fish life.
