Does Casa Caribe offer airport transfers?
No, Casa Caribe does not offer airport pick-up. Cabs (Large Vans) are lined up and waiting just outside the airport terminal – a taxi dispatcher will get your cab and you will be given a receipt with the cab fare to Casa Caribe – US$25-$30 for a party of 4 – cost is slightly higher for more than 4 persons. You are about a 10-15 minute cab ride to Casa Caribe and the glorious Seven Mile Beach!

You may want to consider using a rental car. Rental car companies are at the airport and located across the street from the terminal. Many companies will pick you up at Casa Caribe. 

Can I get internet/web access at Casa Caribe?
Yes, free wireless access (WiFi) is available in all units at Casa Caribe. The office also has a PC, printer for accessing email or printing boarding passes.

Does Casa Caribe provide hairy dryers and irons, ironing boards, washers/dryers?
Yes, all units have hair dryers, standard size ironing boards and irons as well as washer/ dryers.

Does Casa Caribe have TV/DVD/CD/VCR players?
Yes, all units have 2 or more TV’s, DVD players – CD/Cassette tape players and VCR players. Casa Caribe also has cable TV with more than 95 channels offered – all major networks, CNN, ESPN, Nickelodeon, Disney, HBO and Digital Music Channels. There is also a Blockbuster Video store located just down the street for DVD/VCR rentals.

What is the voltage for electronics?
Voltage is 120 (Same as US)

How do I call home or to the office?
There are phones in each unit with free local calls. You can also use your credit card to dial internationally. If you have SKYPE on your PC, you can call for free or very cheaply using web access from your PC.

Do I need to bring my own beach towels?
No.  Casa Caribe provides large beach towels, fresh, daily – at no extra charge! Daily maid service is also provided(except Sunday). Bed linens are provided and changed every other day.

Are there beach chairs and umbrellas?
Absolutely! They are free and provided for our guests. 

Do I need to rent a crib and highchair?
No. Casa Caribe provides complimentary, standard size cribs and highchairs. Sheets and bumpers are also provided (subject to availability).

Will I be able to buy baby food and baby supplies near Casa Caribe?
Yes. Foster’s Food Fair is located across the street from Casa Caribe – open 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m Monday through Saturday and closed Sunday. Foster’s is an IGA Grocery store – just like a large American grocery with a fruit/salad/soup bar – deli – fish market and pharmacy!

Do I need to rent a car?
Casa Caribe is very conveniently located. Car and scooter rental, 10 restaurants, a large grocery store, liquor store, night clubs, snorkel reef, beach bars and more are all located within walking distance on the beach or sidewalk. . If you want to rent a car to tour the island, rental car companies will come to pick you up.

Is the water shallow off shore?
Yes, Casa Caribe is located in the heart of Seven Mile Beach and has a soft sandy bottom with a gradual decline for depth. It is very safe for those who want to swim, snorkel or just play Frisbee in the water.

Will Dive Boats come pick me up on shore?
Yes, some dive operators will pull up on the beach to pick you up for diving The Wall or snorkel reefs.
